General Summary

We’re looking for a high achieving Electronics Test Technician who demonstrates an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and thrives in a fast, rapidly changing, high-pressure environment to join our Astronics team.  

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Electronic Technician degree or equivalent with a good understanding of RF communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate issues
  • Proficiency in measuring devices and test equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to read schematics and specifications
  • Excellent organizational skill, including the ability to use Microsoft Excel
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work in teams and to think/act quick on their feet

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must understand basic principles of Lean Manufacturing
  • Excellent RF, electronic troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to peers and company management
  • Proficiency with standard business software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Work with test equipment, spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscope, Measuring receiver, and signal generator
  • Ability to clearly recognize and report relevant test information from reports
  • Must be a US person

 

Work Environment:
