General Summary
We’re looking for a high achieving Electronics Test Technician who demonstrates an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and thrives in a fast, rapidly changing, high-pressure environment to join our Astronics team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Electronic Technician degree or equivalent with a good understanding of RF communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate issues
- Proficiency in measuring devices and test equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and specifications
- Excellent organizational skill, including the ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work in teams and to think/act quick on their feet
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must understand basic principles of Lean Manufacturing
- Excellent RF, electronic troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail, good communication
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to peers and company management
- Proficiency with standard business software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word
- Work with test equipment, spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscope, Measuring receiver, and signal generator
- Ability to clearly recognize and report relevant test information from reports
- Must be a US person
