About the Company:

Traffic Plan is a high growth nationally certified woman business enterprise operating in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia that provides traffic safety services and products to utility companies, private contractors, and specialty firms.

Our core services include physically setting up and maintaining safety zones, complete with qualified flaggers and safety equipment around our customers’ construction and event sites. Another core service is the sale and rental of traffic control equipment including attenuator trucks, message and arrow boards, light towers, traffic drums, signs, barricades, barrels, and cones. Traffic Plan’s management team is mostly comprised of retired law enforcement officials. We also employ skilled field technicians that are members of a nationally recognized union.

Position Requirements:

The qualified candidate shall possess proven Supervisor skills with five + years of experience with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills. The qualified candidate must possess the ability to work independently and exercise complete confidentiality with all of the work content. This position supports the Chesapeake, VA area.

 

Essential Job Duties:

Schedule daily crew assignments

Conduct interviews for new hires

Develop new and existing customer relationships

Perform job site visits

Manage daily crews

Review and submit timesheets

Customer Liaison

Order any rental equipment as needed

Oversee maintenance of equipment

Handle safety incident reporting

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

Experience with MUTCD requirements and set-ups, ATSSA certifications and VA DOT regulations is required.

Ability to manage work flow in a fast paced environment

Aptitude to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge of MS Office

Availability to handle scheduling issues by phone outside of regular work hours
