From the company's inception in 1946, Stier has expanded into 8 markets throughout the Southeast and is continuing to grow at an unprecedented rate.   Hiring Manager(s) Tracy Hudson   Location Sandy Run - Build & Distribution (SCDC)   Category Manufacturing   Description Our Off-Shift Operations Manager position is the leader of plant operations and primary point of contact during off-shift operations. The role is critical in that this person would ensure all second shift operations function and perform processes safely, efficiently, and accurately. The primary role for this manager is to lead a distribution team focused on off-shift operations including warehousing, logistics, assembly, picking, loading, and processing orders that ship to our customers. Desirable candidates must be highly interactive, solutions oriented & able to lead a team in a high-volume production/shipping environment. In addition, this person must be hands on and willing to go from processing paperwork to rolling up their sleeves and loading trucks alongside their team. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Primary responsibility - lead picking and loading teams with expeditious and accurate loading of trucks Ensure physical security of Facility Hold employees accountable to safety, quality, and delivery standards Prioritize the loading of Expedited orders and Backorders Assist with filling priority orders by utilizing ERP software, pulling materials, operating assembly machines, and loading of trucks Responsible for quality of door units loaded and make corrections, as necessary Ensure readiness of drivers' paperwork Ensure materials on truck are loaded in a manner which eliminates damage due to transport Complete ERP transactions required to progress orders within ERP system Train employees on product knowledge and warehouse location Train employees in all areas of pulling inventory and loading trucks for accuracy and efficiency Work closely with first shift operations, receiving, and warehousing to streamline and improve processes Other tasks as designated by manager   Salary   Benefits Health; Vision; Life; Dental; 401(k) w/Match; PTO; Holiday   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
