The Content Team Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Content Team. They will oversee production of content and work with cross functional teams on their content requirements. They will lead the content team to ensure the curriculum is up to date and development deadlines are met. Content typically includes PowerPoints, workbooks, supporting files and instructor guides and may be delivered in person or virtually. In addition, the manager will be responsible for managing team budgets.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists with implementing and maintaining NCM Institute’s strategic vision for education.
• Lead and inspire a cross functional team of creators, instructional designers, and subject matter experts.
• Manages the content team working with the project manager to ensure that content development is timely, consistently meeting deadlines.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of engaging and effective learning materials, including PowerPoints and workbooks, tailored for adult learners. Keeping in mind that content may be delivered both in person or virtually.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, establish project goals, and track progress.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of learning materials.
• Holds 1:1 meetings with all team members for coaching and communication.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Manages hiring and onboarding process for new team members.
• Works with the content team to provide feedback on classes, increase knowledge in adult learning principles, approves final proofs.
• Helps develop new content and class offerings.
• Works with internal NCM stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align efforts. Including NCM institute, Programs and Retail Solutions departments.
• Monitors content team processes and service delivery for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assists with research and development, of training in new sectors outside of retail automotive.
• Assists with work overflow.

 
Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in education, instructional design preferred; however, requirement may be satisfied with equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Workflow analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of LMS, CMS, CRM/databases and Salesforce proficiency.
• Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office.
• Strong planning and project management skills. Monday.com experience is a plus.
• High energy level.
• High comfort level speaking with a wide range of people.
• Ability to prioritize changing workloads.
• Ability and willingness to continually learn on the job.
• Professional and resourceful.
