Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care.
- Administer immediate treatment on-site and during transport when required.
- Utilize technical equipment for resuscitation and stabilization.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and reports on patient conditions.
- Collaborate with other emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.
- Attend daily safety meetings.
- Clean, decontaminate, and check vehicles and equipment for operational readiness.
Paramedic Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted registration with an appropriate licensing body or regulator
- Valid, unrestricted Class 4 or 5 (or equivalent) Driver's License.
- Clean Driver's Abstract.
- H2S, CSO, TDG, Standard First Aid and confined space training certificates
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen.
- Physical capability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Previous experience in the Industrial or Oil & Gas sector as a medic (an asset).
Working Conditions:
- As a medic you may be required to lift, pull and/or push heavy objects.
- Medics may work in various environments, including remote work sites and events, where they might encounter physical and weather-related challenges.
