Class Coordinator 

Description

The Class Coordinator is responsible for assisting echoingU students in experiencing educational, habilitation, community involvement, and work/skill training as well as providing and implementing consistent programming and engaging active treatment. Some of the educational and program content and community involvement will be in fulfillment of the Ministry’s mission and purpose. Class Coordinators are responsible for recording accurate documentation, providing quality personal care, and ensuring a healthy and safe environment. This position is responsible for compliance with all regulatory audits and safety procedures. This position is a vital link between the individual and other members of the individual’s IPP/ISP team.

 

Requirements

Position requires a high school diploma or GED and prior experience with developmentally disabled adults. Experience in a habilitation or educational setting along with coursework towards a higher education preferred. The position requires the completion of CPR and First Aid training within 90 of hire. The position requires the completion of 30 hours of seminar training within the first year of hire. Position requires a person to hold a valid Ohio Driver’s License and pass initial and ongoing background checks. The position requires a basic knowledge and ability to operate Microsoft office products, internet, email and other general office equipment. Delegated Nursing Certification preferred. Position requires a demonstrated Christian background and ability to fulfill the mission and purpose of EHVI Ministry.
