Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Commercial Vehicle Outside Sales Representative   Category Sales   Description Mercedes Benz of Lancaster Van Center is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant that will be responsible for developing strong relationships with a growing customer base to deliver on top line growth and profitability through sales of Mercedes Benz Sprinter vehicles to customers. The Outside Sales Consultant will reach his or her business targets through effective management of a designated territory and develop ongoing profitable customer relationships with commercial customers, fleets, and end users. This includes educating customers on our vehicles and products and how these can create value for their business and to provide good customer service. Job Duties Include: Generate leads and bring in new prospective buyers. Identify and create relationships to grow accounts and new customers. New order solicitation by calling on and closing new business with commercial accounts, fleets and end users. Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services as it relates to the customers’ needs as well as competitor products and activities. Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation. Conduct assessment of market conditions and advise company managers of findings. Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray Mercedes Benz of Lancaster in a positive manner. Other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Outside sales experience is preferred Vehicle sales experience preferred Ability to analyze the market and competition and adapt strategy to changing conditions Knowledge of the features and benefits of company products and how these features and benefits compare to competitive products. Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products Ability to manage priorities and workflow Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
