Share Email Opening Title Packing Specialist  EOE Statement Barrett is an equal opportunity employer.    Description Assembles packaging materials and prepares merchandise for shipment. Packages products to Barrett specifications according to standard work instructions. Performs electronic transactions within Barrett MRP system. Creates and maintains packaging documentation including photos. Performs audits to ensure standards are being followed. Makes recommendations to improve packing processes. Coordinates with other departments to ensure product is packaged correctly.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Packing Specialist   Position Requirements Prior forklift experience, loading/unloading trucks preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Computer skills, Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook) required. Prior experience with Great Plains or other MRP systems preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and carry or move up to 70 pounds for long periods of time, in accordance with proper safe lifting procedures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
