ERP System Administrator

GENERAL PURPOSE

As an ERP System Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within Sidump'r. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure the ERP system meets the business needs efficiently. Additionally, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to streamline business processes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Administer and maintain the ERP system, including user access, security settings, and system configurations.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of the ERP system.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve user inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures, and configuration details.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations in coordination with business teams.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for system integrations, upgrades, and support as needed.
  • Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and new features.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in ERP technologies to recommend improvements and optimizations.
  • Data entry

  • Any other duties as assigned

  • Company computers, copy machine, fax machine, 10-key calculator, and other equipment pertaining to this position.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an ERP System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. Preferred experience with Global Shop.
  • Proficiency in system administration, configuration, and customization of ERP modules.
  • Experience in troubleshooting system issues and providing technical support to end-users.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in relevant ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with databases, SQL, and programming languages is advantageous (preferred)
  • Proficiency in drafting software (ex. AutoCAD, Solidworks) to create detailed technical drawings and documentation (preferred).

SIDUMP'R was purchased in 2010. Niewohner's had been using a fleet of Sidump'r trailers in their operation and firmly believed in the quality and the value of the brand. With a growing product line, came the relocation to its current facility in Columbus, NE. The expansion to a 350,000 square foot factory has allowed for state-of-art manufacturing equipment to be installed and utilized.
