Complete thorough audit using client provided checklist as guide. Update client systems with review findings and saving checklist on clients shared drive. Create clear comments in client systems so Correspondent easily understands items required. Research any guideline issues using Client Guide and web. Communicate any questions that cannot be satisfied by the Client Guide and web to supervisor for resolution. Communicate clearly and professionally with Regional UW's when directed to contact them. Stay apprised of ever changing processes and adapt accordingly. Strong income analysis skills, including complex self-employed calculations     SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain a high level of confidentiality of company and borrower information. Work independently as well as part of a team. Strong Time Management Skills.       Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 years of loan frontline and/or due diligence underwriting experience in a fast paced mortgage banking environment. Thorough knowledge of agency conventional loans, including strong understanding of AUS findings. FHA and VA knowledge preferred. Moderate computer skills required. Ability to take initiative and work independently. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma College Degree Preferred Or at least five years’ related experience and/or training Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and Instant Messenger.
