Job Details:
The successful Payroll Supervisor will coordinate the timely processing, payment, and reconciliation of weekly payroll while managing payroll staff. This individual will also be responsible for complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for employee activity and training, including quarterly and annual reviews
Oversees and coordinates weekly Inhouse payroll processing
Governmental regulations and compliance – Certified Payroll, Prevailing Wage, Davis Bacon Wage Act, wage and hour laws
Researching, testing, analyzing and resolving system issues in CMiC (Prism’s ERP Software) including CMiC Support cases
Responsible for all tax reporting, federal, state, and local, such as W2’s, 940, 941, and SUTA, etc.
Develop payroll processes and workflow
Communicate internally to ensure accuracy and collaboration
Perform payroll analysis and ad hoc reporting
Requirements:
3-5 years of supervisory experience
Proven supervisory, math, and financial skills
Knowledge of reporting procedures and financial software
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, customer service, and reporting research abilities
Proficiency with motivating, developing and managing teams
