Position Reception/ VIP Service Rep  
Description

Location: Des Moines, WA
Position: Full Time

Rate: $19.00 Hour

About this role

This role is a in-house position of receptionist and VIP experience rep. This role will manage the front desk and initial interactions at our Des Moines warehouse as well as oversee our VIP customer interactions and applications through our online portal.

 

What you will do:

  • Oversee access in and out of the building for employees and guests.
  • Perform clerical office tasks such as maintaining our breakroom needs (coffee supplies and contacting our provider for machine maintenance).
  • Distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.
  • Maintain the customer service small parts inventory and mail out process.
  • Approve/Deny VIP applicants.
  • Uphold same business day response times for VIP inquiries.
  • Partner with third party representatives to ensure customer satisfaction (Outdoor Prolink & ExpertVoice).
 
Position Requirements

What you should bring to the table

  • H.S Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Six months to one-year related experience in reception or office assistant environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, good problem-solving skills and a cordial attitude as the face of the building.
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently.
  • Computer proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Ability to establish an excellent attendance and punctuality record, and an ability to work with an ethnically and culturally diverse workforce.
  • Familiarity with Outdoor Research products or with the outdoor industry helpful.
