Bolton & Menk is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for an entry level Accounts Payable Specialist to join our corporate team! As a Star Tribune Top 200 Workplace, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a great team of professionals based out of our downtown Mankato location. Bolton & Menk is regional, consulting engineer firm with over 70 years of experience serving the Upper Midwest and beyond with infrastructure projects.
What you will be doing:
- As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will take direction from our Senior Accounts Payable Specialist with coding, vouchering, and posting vendor invoices and employee expense reports. You will also work directly with our senior project managers to invoice our clients in a timely and accurate manner.
What we are looking for:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in transactional based accounting role including billing or accounts payable or internship experience
- Proficient skills with accounting software and Microsoft Word/Excel
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a professional services firm
