Business Development Professional

Looking to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a talented and driven Business Development Professional to help grow our expanding business. American Health Connection has immediate opportunities for a Business Development Professional who will travel and present at trade shows several times a year.  This is a remote, regular, full-time position with benefits, salary base plus commission.

Responsibility Overview:

  • The Business Development Professional will identify and research lists of companies to target, network, develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for driving revenue growth and working with location management to ensure profitability. Ability to cultivate a mature network of referrals, including referrals from past partnerships, throughout their perspective territory (may cover multiple locations).
  • Professionally drive a sense of urgency in accounts to increase purchasing decision timeline.
  • Delivering sales overview presentations of the product
  • Coordinate calls and meetings between qualified leads and the Sales team
  • Will travel and present at trade shows several times a year.
  • Keep detailed records in the CRM. Use Salesforce, MS Office and other systems and tools to effectively manage sales pipeline.
  • Provide regular feedback to corporate management regarding sales activity and success in market development.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives.

What You Bring To Be Successful:

  • Previous sales development experience required.  National or multi-State sales territory preferred, healthcare industry experience a plus..
  • Previous CRM, Salesforce, MS Office experience.
  • Ability to travel to meet business needs.  
  • College degree required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to exhibit divergent thinking, aimed at improving processes and results.
  • A desire to continually learn, pick up new skills and increase knowledge.
  • Ability to receive feedback, ask questions, and adjust strategy.
  • Strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical, and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a remote team.
  • Excellent work ethic, determination, passion to solve problems, and ability to think outside the box.


Compensation and Benefits

Salary negotiable DOE plus approved commission.
