A day in the life of a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator:

  • Executes all janitorial responsibilities for all restrooms at least twice weekly to include sweeping and mopping, sanitizing, restocking supplies
  • Executes all janitorial responsibilities for all breakrooms at least twice weekly to include sweeping and mopping, sanitizing, restocking supplies, cleaning refrigerators/microwaves
  • Executes all janitorial responsibilities of all conference rooms at least once weekly to include vacuuming or sweeping and mopping, dusting and sanitizing
  • Removes trash from all restrooms and breakrooms daily
  • Assists with maintenance requests including, but not limited to, changing light bulbs, toilet paper, paper towels; addressing leaks, spills, clogged toilets, etc.;
  • Investigates maintenance requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc. and coordinates with professionals to fix any issues
  • Assists with assembling, moving and installing furniture (desk chairs, desks, bookcases, etc.)
  • Manages company car fleet - oversight of maintenance, cleaning and daily assignment of vehicles
  • Manages electronic ticketing system that houses all facility related requests
  • Manages vendor list and adds/removes vendors when needed
  • Completes monthly Facility Checklists
  • Conducts daily walkthroughs of each building to ensure there are no safety hazards or maintenance needs that have gone unreported
  • Works with cleaning crew to ensure supplies are ordered and kept in stock at appropriate levels
  • Assists with maintenance of corporate housing locations by completing a monthly walkthrough to identify and resolve any maintenance concerns
  • Assists with check in/checkout process for corporate housing
  • Assists with delivery of any inbound packages to necessary departments as needed
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, and compliance, and report any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by the Director.

Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; one or more years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Good organizational skills
  • Responsible and cooperative attitude
  • Neat and clean personal appearance
  • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical functions
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools

Physical Requirements:

  • In an 8-hour day the employee lifts/carries 1-10lbs. frequently
  • In an 8-hour day the employee lifts/carries 50lbs. or more occasionally
  • In an 8-hour day the employee stands/walks for up to 8 hours daily
  • In an 8-hour day the employee bends, squats, stoops and reaches frequently
 
Position Requirements

Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 6 months in a client-faced environment
  • General office skills; typing, filing, and answering phones
  • Ability to handle fast paced environment and multitask with a pleasant demeanor
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to resource information as it pertains to your experience

Physical Requirements:

  • In an 8-hour day the employee infrequently lifts/carries 5 Lbs. or less.
  • In an 8-hour day the employee stands/walks for less than 2 hours.
  • In an 8-hour day the employee sits 6+ hours.
