Position Title: Lifestyle Assistant (Associate)
Location: Aurora, CO - At Southshore Community
Reporting To: Lifestyle Director
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Salary: $24.00-$26.00 Hourly

EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:

The Lifestyle Assistant is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience while providing support to both internal and external clients, including, but not limited to: partnering with the Lifestyle Director and being the go-to person for all private and community events and lifestyle services.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote a positive environment that fosters a fun atmosphere.
  • Set up tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed for events.
  • Supervise events and assist homeowners with questions.
  • Coordinate and file community and clubhouse facility reservations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowner questions regarding lifestyle programming, events, and fitness classes.
  • Respond to all emails and phone calls within a timely manner.
  • Be familiar with and assist residents with use of the gym equipment.
  • Assist the Lifestyle Director with creating graphics and content for community eBlasts, as well as create flyers, signs, and other promotional materials for community events.
  • Assist the Lifestyle Director with processing group and club applications.
  • Manage the community contact list for Lifestyle eBlasts.
  • Update and manage community calendar.
  • Create and distribute community Newsletters.
  • Responsible for new owner welcome packets.
  • Update the community website to reflect up-to-date event information and registration links.
  • Provide periodic relief of the front desk as needed for breaks, vacations, or absences.
  • Use the point-of-sale system to charge residents for fitness classes and community events.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Save Serve and/or TIPs Certification a plus
  • Fitness background preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with property/country club/hotel/high-end operations
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must be a team player who is committed to delivering high-level customer service
  • Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record
  • Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff and guests at all times
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
  • Be stationary or in motion for periods of time
  • Relocate up to (40) pounds

  • None

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL:

  • Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • Required to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
