We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to assist with the general management of social media accounts for RCN Capital and a new company under the RCN umbrella. This will be an opportunity to assist RCN Capital's Social Media Marketing Coordinator with scheduling social content, monitoring social media pages, and overall content creation efforts. The Social Media Marketing Intern will also be heavily involved in assisting RCN's Social Media Marketing Coordinator and CMO with the development of a new company's social media pages, content plan, and social media marketing assets. Primary Responsibilities: Assist the Social Media Marketing Coordinator with: Content creation for RCN Capital and REiDEAL MASTER's social media accounts Video content recording Scheduling of social media content Monitoring of social pages, comments and messages Editing videos Additional tasks and projects as assigned   Position Requirements Required Skills: Strong understanding of all social media platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Independent self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize projects as needed Capable of working both independently and as part of a team Highly motivated with strong work ethic High attention to detail Strong writing and analytical skills Social media management preferred Video editing preferred Copy/content writing preferred Required Experience: 1 year of prior experience with social media marketing/Social media management Previous utilization of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube & Tik Tok in a professional or academic setting Prior use of a social media management platform preferred Prior use of Adobe Premiere Pro preferred Education: Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university studying Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field Schedule: Can be full time or part time depending on availability Will be onsite in our South Windsor, CT office We Offer: Competitive benefits including employer-sponsored medical, dental, vision, among other programs 401K with employer match Free food and beverage program Free onsite gym and laundry Many other perks!   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Division RCN Capital   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Req Number INT-24-00004   Location Hartford County - RCN   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
