We're looking to add a Venue and Sales Manager to our Event Team!

In this role, the Venue and Sales Manager is responsible for sales and operational functions of the High Five venue space. In coordination with the Venue Director, this individual will drive sales growth of the venue and manage events ensuring a five-star customer experience.

 

The Position:

  • Work in tandem with the Event Manager to provide a five-star experience from start to finish.
  • Full day to day management of the High Five venue such as the upkeep of facilities, walkthroughs, physical repairs, cleaning, and safety checks.
  • Prospect new sales opportunities in the corporate and wedding industry
  • Plan, create and produce various in-house events to help drive sales
  • Oversee the execution of all corporate and large-scale events and make sure they align with The High Five goals
  • Assist Venue Director in marketing efforts for High Five as a Premier Wedding venue including: manage social media calendars, wedding blog ideas, and other social media outlets
  • Requests reviews and conducts follow up of client experience
  • In depth understanding and execution of Tripleseat to maximize productivity.
  • Assist Venue Director with hiring needs and oversees training of event team.
  • Updates training materials and SOP’s
  • Reach out to prospective brides, businesses, churches, and influencers via phone and email.
  • Partner with the Event Manager to coordinate event requirements as requested by guests and up selling additional High Five venue features.
  • Draft contracts and agreements to facilitate execution with clients, other agencies, organizations, and staff; negotiate agreements and contracts within the scope of delegated authority to secure events, programs, activities, materials, and/or services.
  • Organize meetings with clients to ensure overall experience is positive and troubleshoot emerging problems proactively
  • This individual will alternate with the Event Manager for the day of set up, execution, and tear down of weekend events.
  • LMA: Lead, Manage, and hold direct reports accountable.
  • Support, encourage, coach, and maintain accountability to ensure success for the High Five team members and for the organization.
  • All other duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
