A CRNA's primary responsibility is to contribute to the success of an anesthesiology team to ensure every patient who undergoes treatment in your facility receives exceptional care in line with established best practices


  • Administering general and regional anesthesia
  • Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when a patient requires life-saving care
  • Gathering data from patients, medical charts and the medical care team
  • Monitoring a patient's blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate and respiration rate before and during procedures
  • Managing the care a patient receives before and after receiving anesthesia
  • Coordinating with other members of the care team to provide ventilator support and pain management following procedures
  • Checking and maintaining
  • Updating patient records

Position Requirements


  • Current New York State RN License
  • Masters in Science in Nursing
  • Nurse Practitioner license or completion of a CRNA educational program
  • One year of professional experience
  • BLS certified
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records
  • Excellent communication, decision making, leadership and problem solving skills
  • Types of cases- bread and butter, no hearts and neuro, Peds and OB is a must, Regional experience a plus but not absolutely necessary

In accordance with the New York State Department of Health (DOH) order that all hospitals and nursing homes “continuously require all covered personnel to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.”  Upon receipt of a conditional job offer, candidates who are not already vaccinated must obtain the first dose of the vaccine within three (3) calendar days of job offer and must obtain any subsequent doses in accordance with the vaccine protocol. The order allows for limited medical exemptions with reasonable accommodations, consistent with applicable law.

Physical Demands:

May spend a great deal of their professional day walking, standing, moving and manipulating equipment, as well as lifting and moving objects, equipment and supplies. Ability to lift 20 pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients or objects may involve lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than one-hundred (100) pounds. Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend or twist their body, as well as visual acuity.
