With a focus on innovation and excellence, we are looking for an experienced Special Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, construction processes, and project management principles. The Special Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and completing large telecom construction projects on budget and on time. This position works closely with our external and internal partners, and they will ensure adherence to all company and government guidelines. Responsibilities: • Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer • Management of significant telecom construction projects and contracts. • Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines. • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular streamlined reports to leadership. • Analyze and provide financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation. • Perform risk assessment and resolve issues as they arise or quickly engage others to resolve to reduce the project schedule's adverse timing and quality impacts. • Provide the status of all ongoing projects at any given time. • Coordinate and host regular meetings, manage change board, align initiatives, share information, and implement best practices. • Ensure all team members have the information and resources to complete their tasks effectively. • Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations in processes/procedures and tools to improve efficiency. • Evaluate projects to ensure they meet company standards, adhere to budgets, and meet deadlines. • Perform other duties as required. • Serve as a mentor and act as a vital source of knowledge for employees, offering guidance and support in their professional development.   Position Requirements Requirements: 15-plus years of experience managing large-scale construction projects. Telecommunications industry experience preferred. Experience with government grants, funding, and contracts is required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, communications, business administration, or an industry-specific field preferred. Project Management Professional PMP Certification Must demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict management. Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Valid Enhanced WA State Driver's license or passport, ability to travel to Canada. Pass background check Salary Range - $94,000 to $149,400 Salary ranges are based on available market data for the business sector and geographic location.
