This position does not involve direct day to day supervision of employees. Confidentiality of customer information cannot be overstated. It is expected that all customer information be kept in the strictest confidence. We must do whatever it takes to ensure that our relationships with the public are not jeopardized. The purpose of this position is to greet customers entering our facility in a courteous and professional manner. This position is the first “point of contact” to obtain answers to customer inquiries, and direct customer traffic appropriately. It is important that everyone entering the bank has a positive experience and leaves with a lasting impression. SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to have positive interactions with individuals while demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and helpfulness Ability to remain composed and patient under pressure with continual interruptions, keeping the customer as the number one priority Ability to multi-task Ability to proficiently utilize technology, including a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs and telephone systems DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and direct customer traffic appropriately Process basic banking requests for both internal and external customers Open and close facility, which may require staying until all customers exit the facility daily Input and monitor check orders daily Process outgoing and incoming check collections Verify incoming foreign wires and distribute to appropriate Deposit Services Representatives daily Distribute BSA reports to appropriate Deposit Services Representatives daily Download and distribute contact emails and online applications daily Send Deluxe Provent report daily Review activity on dormant accounts and generate statements to customers monthly Distribute deposit rates weekly and change when needed Research Deluxe check charge discrepancies as needed Prepare new account kits from Deluxe as needed CD checkback daily Assist with the promotion and maintenance of our 55 Connection club through mailings, events, and reports Accept small delivery packages; monitor and maintain the delivery fob log for large delivery items Assist customers with lobby coin machine and troubleshoot potential functionality issues Maintain and follow identification procedures to process and distribute customer pickup items such as checks or statements Backup Duties: Deposit Services & Investments Support, as needed Wire Checkback Dormant account activations Checking/savings checkback Attend required staff meetings Follow security procedures Support a diverse and inclusive culture Abide by all policies, procedures, and expectations set forth in the Employee Manuel or requested by Management   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location First National Bank of Bemidji   Salary Range   This position is currently accepting applications.
