Other business-related duties may be assigned. Follows all ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions in the performance of these duties. Oversees daily debinding, sintering and heat treat requirements and operates all machines required to do so. Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests when necessary; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials when necessary. Conducts relevant metallurgical evaluations as necessary. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required changes to production supervisor. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into a quality database. Documents changes to debinding, sintering and heat treat processes. Create standard work instructions for staging product for debinding, sintering and heat treat processes. Assists with the creation and prioritization of the production schedule in the debinding, sintering and heat treat areas. Work with quality department to identify product non-conformity and correction. Assist with daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance of all equipment in sintering department.
