Financial/Compensation Analyst
COVID vaccine will be required unless medical / religious exemption. BCHP is seeking a Financial/Compensation Analyst in Valhalla, NY. This is a Full Time, mainly remote work opportunity with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Competitive salary based on experience, Full Time with Benefits, 401k, PTO/ Salary approx. $70,000-$80,000, negotiable depending on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review employment contracts and determine appropriate compensation and bonus plans.
- Calculation of monthly, quarterly, annual incentive payments and compensation targets.
- Act as a liaison between Finance, legal and providers for all compensation matters.
- Calculation and distribution of quarterly bonus schedules and payments to affiliate providers.
- Maintain database of office leases and prepare monthly journal entry.
- Act as a backup for payroll processing, payroll projects and reporting.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking related to compensation matters.
- Evaluate compensation performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget.
- Work closely with Senior Accountant on the month-end closing process.
- Act as a backup to prepare and analyze weekly health insurance claim payments and expenses.
- Analyze and prepare supporting schedules for significant account expenses for the monthly accrual assumptions.
- Prepare and record journal entries into QuickBooks.
- Prepare and update monthly work papers for compensation related accounts.
- Assist in preparing the monthly financial statements, supporting schedules and revenue reports.
- Perform special ad hoc projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ Years’ Finance/Payroll experience in a healthcare organization preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- Strong fluency with Microsoft Office especially Excel. Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Paychex Payroll software a plus.
