ABC of NC is hiring a Facilities Closer as soon as possible. The main purpose of the Facilities Closer position is to provide ABC of NC’s Facilities Maintenance team and RBT/Behavior Techs assistance with end of day closing duties, to keep our buildings and grounds tidy and safe for staff and clients in preparation for the next workday. This position is a part–time role, working 2 - 3 hours per day during the afternoon, Monday through Friday. While experience is nice to have, no experience is required for this role.
Daily Job Duties
The Facilities Closer follows ABC of NC's detailed end of day closing checklists in both the School and Clinic. A summary of overall duties is listed below:
- Straighten up common areas (break rooms, sunroom, kitchen, enrichment room, work room, lobbies, and hallways).
- Kitchen and lobby areas maintenance/cleaning; some examples include wiping down tables and chairs.
- Clean up large and small playground areas.
- Pick up and store toys in designated storage bins and on shelves.
- Put all items away in Activity Building.
- Straighten up Board room and conference rooms.
- Plug in, unplug, and turn off specified appliances.
