Mills James is seeking a dynamic person to join our Pre-Professional Program as a Marketing Coordinator. As our Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying our brand's voice across a multitude of platforms. Your expertise will drive innovative campaigns, engage with our audiences, and contribute to the success of our diverse video and event production projects. The Mills James Pre-Professional Program provides recent college graduates an opportunity to obtain on-the-job work experience in preparation for a career in the communications and production industry. During the six-month session, often called the "audition" period, you will be expected to work 30-40 hours per week. Your skill sets need not cover the full range required for full-time associates. Displaying initiative and a willingness to learn will help you get the most out of your time in the program and add to your value in the marketplace.


At the sole discretion of Mills James, Pre-Pro associates who demonstrate outstanding skills and qualities may be offered the opportunity to continue in the program for a second six-month session. However, an individual's participation in the program will not extend beyond one year or guarantee a full-time position.


Job Responsibilities:
• Working closely with the Marketing Manager, coordinate and implement marketing strategies that align with company objectives to enhance Mills James' brand awareness within the video and event production industry.
• Support the marketing manager in organizing various projects, from concept through execution, including email campaigns, social media efforts, company newsletter and other events.
• Manage social media accounts by creating content, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Source content and assist marketing manager in internal communication efforts.
• Assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, press releases, and promotional content across different digital platforms.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends at the direction of the Marketing Manager.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing promotional items.
• Assist with the production of in-house events, including logistics, attendee management, and on-site coordination.
• Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
• Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager.


Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
• Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a critical eye for quality control
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage tight deadlines
• Willingness to attend events and occasionally work outside of regular business hours


What You Will Learn:
• Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot)
• Knowledge of current marketing trends and technology
• Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising strategies
• Ability to analyze data from website and social media platforms
• Test your creativity and ability to think strategically to develop innovative marketing campaigns
