This position will be introduced to a wide variety of processes, projects and experiences within engineering and production.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:  Assist Engineering with designs, documentation, quality and/or improvement projects for the production floor. Assist with the day to day administration and operations of the engineering department.  Assist engineering with projects to meet customer expected completion dates.  Assist with data entry and analysis. Designs fixtures and tooling using CAD software.  Gather information, conduct studies, write justifications, and prepare ROI’s for production projects. Other duties as assigned. Training Requirements: Successful completion of the following training is required: New Employee Orientation and Position Specific Training Checklist Software Knowledge: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Solidworks, AutoCad; and Microsoft Office applications. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
