Position: Operations Manager Location: Sutter, California  Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually Position Summary: The Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing the daily operations of our crews and equipment. This includes on-site employee training to support our customers and overseeing the day-to-day activities of a branch. The role demands a balance between meeting corporate objectives, fulfilling customer needs, and efficiently utilizing local resources. Responsibilities: Direct management of crews and equipment across various locations, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Maintain effective communication with municipalities and customers, managing project notifications, permits, and compliance with regulations. Exercise problem-solving skills and independent decision-making. Develop and manage employee schedules, oversee project staffing, and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks. Plan and execute projects cost-effectively while adhering to safety and compliance standards, including DOT regulations. Be available on-call, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet project deadlines. Travel as required for project oversight and management. Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership and financial management skills in traffic control, construction, or related industries. Excellent communication abilities and a track record of successful customer and municipal engagements. Proven ability to manage complex operations and make independent decisions. Industry involvement through trade associations, coalitions with state DOT, or similar. Highly experienced in MS Excel and Word Computer training will be required for Viewpoint Understanding of financial statements including balance sheet and profit & loss statement   Education and Experience BS in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, preferred. Minimum of 15 years traffic control and safety experience including crew work and industry formal training.
