Job Description:

We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Patient Coordinator to join our team at Vienna Smiles. In this crucial role, you will be the initial point of contact for our patients, ensuring they have a positive and stress-free experience. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be essential to the success of our practice.


Key Responsibilities:

Patient Reception: Warmly greet and assist patients upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing the daily schedule for both efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Check-In/Check-Out: Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying insurance information and processing payments accurately.

Patient Communication: Handle phone inquiries, emails, and in-person requests professionally and courteously, addressing patient questions and concerns effectively.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.

Insurance Coordination: Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and provide clear explanations of benefits to patients.

Support to Dental Team: Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Community Engagement: Participate in team and community volunteer events as needed.

Training and Meetings: Attend regular department meetings and engage in internal and external training opportunities.

Recognition and Growth: Embrace recognition and growth opportunities within the practice.



Previous experience as a Patient Coordinator or in a similar customer service role is preferred or willing to train. 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems.

Compassion and a genuine desire to assist patients in their dental care journey.


Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience).
