Position Summary

Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, you will process Outbound Bulk truck shipment paperwork of process goods, and finished products by performing the following duties:

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Process Outbound Trucks Shipping paperwork.
  • Process includes Bill of Ladings, Certificates of Analysis, Safety Data Sheets (SDS-Online) on hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and a litany of customer provided documentation.
  • Verify all paperwork from the CSR to the truck paperwork and Bulk Schedule.
  • Review the orders and communicate accordingly any missing documentation to ensure shipment and invoicing accuracy.
  • Must understand how to access and navigate through Third Coast Terminals’ Internal ERP software system to locate, generate, and process the above documents.
  • Ability to access and navigate External customer systems, for example, SAP. Work closely with Third Coast’s SAP department in the Outbound process.
  • Job requires the ability to work an office copy/scan machine for the purpose of scanning multiple documents, make copies, communicate via emailing, and basic office/administrative duties.
  • Will be required to work closely with Truck Drivers regarding paperwork signatures, proper paperwork required, and verbal communication.
  • Log in outbound samples into the External Sample Log.
  • Also, assist in communication with Blending, Guard Shacks, Scale Houses, Reaction, and the transport drivers for Bulk shipping via phone or radio and in person.
  • Required to go through Department of Transportation training, Laboratory Safety, due to the handling of sample retains storage (However, will not be required to perform any Laboratory testing or disposal.)
  • Exhibits and practices the Third Coast Way fundamental behaviors.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory with 1 year of college level course work.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Work Experience:

  • 0-1 year of related office and/or administrative experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Have general knowledge of plant safety rules and be ready prepared to receive standard training.
  • Knowledge of our quality policy and objectives. Observe all safety policies and procedures. Participate in plant safety processes and immediately report any unsafe conditions.
  • Learn basic product identification.
  • Remain current on the requirements of the Quality Program ensure that your actions support the Quality Policy towards continual improvement.
  • Professional and courteous behavior.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, internet, and other basic computer software programming.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Safety rules, standard operating procedures, and industry methods (English). Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively before groups of employees (English).

Physical Requirements

  • The physical demands required are to sit, stand, talk, listen and some lifting.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee works with storing of retain samples which sometime may require gloves as a safety precaution.
