Position Event Services Manager  
Description

Join the immersive world of ART, MUSIC & AMUSEMENT at AREA15, where the boundaries between reality and limitless creativity blur. Welcome to the "What's Next District.'

The Event Services Manager is responsible for managing, executing, servicing, and detailing assigned events once booked. They are to ensure the smooth and efficient process of an event from signature to execution. This individual will oversee all related services and details for corporate and private events at AREA15, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives, budget guidelines, mission statement, and core service standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Review and format BEO notes as necessary.

  • Keep up with the sales manager on timelines, billing, and deadlines.

  • On-Site Coordination, including owning floor plans and creating floor plans for events.

  • BEO distribution if the coordinator isn't responsible.

  • Interact and seamlessly communicate with clients in a professional manner.

  • Conduct venue walk throughs with clients.

  • Taking on a leadership role when necessary to make executive decisions, Should issues arrive on-site, the ability to problem solve and?diffuse elevated situations in a professional manner.

  • Ensure events are properly staffed, safety measures are in place, and transportation is arranged.

  • Oversee all aspects of operational set-up and break down of events, including equipment needs, rental needs, and station set-up.

  • Complete administration duties such as labor reports, receipts, payments, and any others as assigned.

  • Create, manage, and implement communications plans and programs to increase revenue, foot traffic, and awareness.

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns for brand awareness and visitation.

  • Collaborate with various departments to align programming and sales goals.

  • Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times.

  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.

  • Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in event execution.

  • Ability to review BEOs for discrepancies and communicate changes/ask questions.

  • Ability to take a leadership role on-site and make executive decisions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of catering sales systems such as Triple Seat preferred.

  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

  • Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.

  • Ability to commute between office and venue(s).

  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.

  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure
