Shift M-F, 8 am - 5 pm, with some evening meetings and occasional community outreach on weekends  
Description

The Senior Planner reviews the most complex development applications and serves as team leader for major Community Development Projects, acting as a mentor to less experienced team members. This position prepares and recommends code and ordinance revisions and performs other long range planning functions.

HIRING BONUS - $2,000

$1,000 after working 30 days and the remaining $1,000 after one year of employment

Hiring Range is: $82,735 - $93,766.05
Full Pay Range is: $82,735 - $110,313

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Master's degree in urban/regional planning, community development, landscape architecture, or a closely related field.
  • Four years' experience in local or regional planning with experience in currently development reviews.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • 1 year of supervisory / mentoring experience.
  • Long-range planning experience.
  • Certification through the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
