Job Responsibilities: Collaborate seamlessly within the precast manufacturing team, playing a crucial role in its functioning. Step into the role of Precast Manufacturing Lead, assuming the responsibilities of the Plant Manager during their absence or when offsite. Adhere rigorously to Wilbert company protocols and policies, fostering uniformity among fellow Precast Manufacturing personnel. Support the Plant Manager in upholding the quality benchmarks established by Wilbert and the Plant Manager. Identify and address issues in batch design, form preparation, pouring and finishing processes, form stripping, and product handling and storage. Identify equipment in need of repair or replacement in the manufacturing process. Partner with the Plant Manager to facilitate timely resolutions for these repairs or replacements. Collaborate with the Plant Manager to maintain optimal levels of raw materials and supplies, ensuring smooth production operations. Assist the Plant Manager in devising and implementing strategies to enhance production efficiency, extend equipment lifespan, optimize product quality, and minimize overall expenditures. Leverage Lean Manufacturing methodologies to streamline workflows and boost productivity. Uphold consistent cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing plant environment. Support the Plant Manager in managing finished goods inventory levels. Contribute to monthly inventory counts and issue reconciliations. Contribute to the implementation of procedures that reduce inventory discrepancies.   Position Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent, coupled with 2 years of precast experience in concrete manufacturing. Proficiency in contemporary manufacturing techniques, with the ability to identify optimal applications. Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships and minimize conflicts while maximizing collaboration. Effective communication skills and the ability to influence and guide the workforce towards achieving desired outcomes. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process. Familiarity with OSHA standards. Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
