POSITION SUMMARY:

Install Signs on state highways and other roadways. Work independently or part of a sign installation control crew. Also set up and maintain safe work zones, if required.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Drive Sign Installation vehicle with trailer to and from project and on work site.
  2. Assembling and Installing posts with jack hammer
  3. Reading blue prints

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Ability to understand and follow directions as given.

Ability to lift and carry minimum 40 pounds.

Must have valid driver's license and meet federal DOT requirements. CDL Class B is a plus nut a must.

Previous experience in sign installation or similar trade. Certification from ATSSA as Worksite Traffic Technician or Supervisor preferred.
