QUOTE TEAM LEADER  
Description

* The major responsibility is to general quotes. Accountable for generating quotes accurately and on time.

* Take ownership of new business booking target.

* Execute pursuit plans and keep track of KPI’s.

* Ownership of new business development activities.

* Maintaining the documentation as per the quote process.  Comply with IATF certification requirements.

* Support

      - 5 year revenue plan generation.

       - Capex projections for budget preparation.

        - Tech shows

* Prepare quote hand-off packages and help PDT to get started on new program development.

* Prepare presentations for customer meetings and visits.

* Support R&O activities; maintain accurate online database; work with team to complete the activities on time to convert opportunities into OI.

* Support benchmarking activities (Product, process, region, costs, supplier, etc.).

* Get required information from quote team leaders from other regions.

* Support Sales team with customer breakdown forms.

* Support Purchasing team with supplier cost breakdown forms.

* Generate pricing proposals for ECNs; work with CIPMs.

* Support in target costing, setting stretch targets, and the commitment tracker.

* Work with Commercial Finance to generate ARs.

 
Position Requirements

* Minimum 10 years of automotive experience – product costing experience is required.

* Product knowledge of latches is a big plus.

* CAD skills / BOM skills preferred

* Knowledge & experience of working with local OEM’s.

* Manufacturing process knowledge is required.

* Good communication skills.

* Must be a team player; must be able to work with cross-functional teams.

* Project management and International exposure experience will be an added advantage.

* MS Excel and MS PP skills

 
Education Requirement Bachelor's degree in Engineering of Finance. MBA is a plus.
