Position Sr. Research Analyst  
Description

As a Sr Data Strategy Manager at AREA15, you will be the linchpin for our marketing and strategic decision-making processes. Your role involves diving deep into data, providing actionable insights to business teams, defining customer profiles and segments, and telling compelling stories with internal and external data sources. You will unearth correlations between customer behaviors and their interactions within our venue and identify growth opportunities and declines in visitor markets. Your recommendations will directly influence AREA15's strategy to enhance visitor experience and drive growth. This position reports to AREA15’s CTO.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in visitor behavior and market dynamics.
  • Define and refine customer profiles and segments, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data sources.
  • Analyze data from a variety of sources, including internal databases, external market research, and customer feedback to create a cohesive data story.
  • Identify correlations between customer behaviors, including their activities within AREA15 and their purchasing patterns.
  • Monitor and forecast trends in visitor markets, identifying areas of growth and decline, and develop strategies to capitalize on these insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for targeted marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations that clearly communicate research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in market research and/or related analytical role, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights to business teams.
  • Deep expertise in statistical analysis, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and predictive analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics software and databases (e.g., SQL, Python/R for data analysis).
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data stories in a clear and persuasive manner to a variety of audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a relentless drive to uncover the stories hidden within data.
  • Experience in the entertainment, retail, or similar industries is highly desirable.
