Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist  

Description

SUMMARY
Responsible for developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies, sourcing and attracting top talent, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all MNGE positions. Provides guidance and mentorship to the talent acquisition team and collaborates closely with hiring managers to ensure the organization attracts and retains top-quality candidates (in person position, not remote).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization's goals and workforce planning needs.
2. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, establish job profiles, and create comprehensive job descriptions.
3. Help direct end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate pipeline management, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and pre-employment processes such as reference checks and background verifications.
4. Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to effectively coordinate candidate data, track progress, and generate recruitment reports.
5. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the talent acquisition team.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
7. Research, source, seek out, pre-qualify, interview and fully screen applicants to fill existing and future job openings and promote career opportunities within the company.
8. Review job applicants to match their qualifications with employers’ needs, recording and evaluating applicant experience, education, training and skills.
9. Maintains external/internal candidate database including data entry, applicant tracking, and interview notes information, and process changes.
10. Submits and maintains required reports as requested by management.
11. Remains up-to-date on current employment law and practices. 
12. Working with Hiring Managers to obtain applicants to fill open positions in a reasonable amount of time.
13. Responsible for documentation requirements (new hire/transfer).
14. Work with OPG for required approvals and position classifications.
15. Update all property HR Managers of any FTE changes. All required approvals are received from each property before position is posted or offer is being made above minimum.
16. Manage in house applicant tracking system and train team members when needed.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; and/or combination of education & experience. 

EXPERIENCE
(5+ years) in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related role. Proven track record in sourcing and attracting high-quality candidates using a variety of sourcing techniques. Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, recruitment best practices, and industry trends. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to manage the recruitment process and generate reports. Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple recruitment projects and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to the recruitment process.
