As a Warehouse Operator at our Moriah location, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for handling and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load and unload materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking and organizing incoming and outgoing products, performing inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer requirements, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are prepared for shipment.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality, damage, and compliance with company standards, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including labeling, shelving, and arranging products to optimize space utilization.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance checks at the beginning of the shift on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions or damage for timely repairs.
Documentation: Complete required paperwork and documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including the Warehouse Lead and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a Warehouse Operator or similar role in a warehouse environment.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
