Bolton & Menk has an opening for a GIS Intern in our Greenville, SC office. We’re looking for a motivated problem solver who enjoys collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you would provide expertise on a wide variety of GIS projects for both internal and external clients. The position will be assisting our team on transportation, municipal, and planning-related data gathering, analysis, and map development. As an Esri Business Partner, Bolton & Menk leverages the latest GIS software technology and methods for delivering cutting edge results.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree Programs: Selected candidates will be enrolled in a GIS, Geography Degree, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: 2.8. Desired GPA 3.2.
- Desired Status: Sophomore or above.
JOB SPECIFICS:
- Students must have the ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain for the purpose of performing the duties outlined above.
- Students must possess a valid class D driver’s license and their own transportation. You will be reimbursed for business-related travel.
- Students must have the ability to read, speak and write English clearly as this position may interact with City staff, City residents, contractors and sub-contractors.
Each year we look for variety of experience, education and ability for our student intern pool. Some positions may be filled with students who have previous experience depending on the level of complexity a project or client may require. Preference may be given to students who have completed a previous internship with Bolton & Menk, Inc.
Relocation and housing are not included.
