This employee will respond to requests from the agency and community for crisis intervention services for children/adults, to include limited term community stabilization, crisis intervention, information, and referral to community resources and/or preadmission screening for inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment. Benefits Sign-on bonus of $5,000; $2,500 paid with first paycheck, $2,500 paid after 1 year of service. Salary Starting at $46,008 Clinical supervision provided at no cost. Health insurance as low as $21.16/month for individuals. Family and dependent plans are also available. Eleven paid holidays. Accrue up to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year from year one. PTO is immediately available upon accrual. Participation in the Virginia Retirement System. Professional development assistance provided at no cost. Essential Functions provide mobile crisis responses to the Valley CSB catchment area homes, schools, and community settings. The catchment area consists of Augusta County, Highland County, Staunton City and Waynesboro City. Includes assessing crisis situations, providing de-escalation, and support for individuals in crisis. Will have ongoing support and clinical guidance from supervisory staff Requires that the incumbent be available to work between home, office, and within the community catchment area to meet the needs of the program. Minimum Requirements All applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered qualified for the position: Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a behavioral health or human services related field and a minimum of 1 year of documented clinical experience an equivalent combination of education and experience that qualifies the incumbent as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP -A, C and or QIDP Valley Community Services Board is an equal employment opportunity employer.
