Preferred experience with Janitorial Services Sales. The Commercial Market Segment Area Manager makes contacts with potential leads and customers at the established frequency set by the District Director. Contacts will be made by phone, personal meeting, appointments, and networking events. Responsible for account retention, customer satisfaction, and profitability of assigned accounts. Meet new business sales revenue levels established by the District Manager. Maintain marketing, trade shows and event budgets not to exceed set standards. Accountability for all dollars spent and showing a ROI (Return on Investment). Proficient use of marketing campaigns as designated by the Company. Join and participate in professional organizations. Understand and support our Quality System and its initiatives and elements along with associated benchmarking. Active in the hiring process, by conducting orientations, employee training and train the trainer programs. Achieve and maintain accreditations applicable to the assigned market. Manage accounts by regularly meeting with customer contacts. Understand their needs and expectations. Demonstrate working knowledge of equipment, cleaning process, products used to perform services. Lead and coach team on those functions. Assist with retention activities. Regular attendance during designated time frames as directed by the District Manager. Initiate and follow through to completion the sales process from lead generation, work loading, pricing, and proposal presentation to closing and implementation/ transition strategies for all new sold programs. All proposals require approval by the District Director or Vice President. Completions of other duties, job related tasks and or responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the District Director.
