Description

Full-time, direct hire position in Philadelphia County.

The DV and Homeless Services Coordinator will provide trauma-informed & culturally sensitive screening and assessments for persons experiencing IPV, sexual violence, and/or trafficking, provide support to survivors navigate the process of securing safe housing, and serve as a liaison between Philadelphia homeless services provider, community organization, and social services networks to improve systemic responses and coordination of services for survivors of domestic violence.

 
Position Requirements

BSW with a minimum of three 3 years of experience in case management and/or related experience required. Housing placement experience in Philadelphia is required. Demonstrated effectiveness in crisis intervention is required. Experience with advocacy and project coordination. Experience working/supporting victims of domestic violence, and intimate partner violence is required. Knowledge of and experience with trauma-informed service delivery is preferred. Bilingualism, fluency in the use of English and an additional language. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population is required; experience in an urban setting is strongly preferred.
