Since it's opening in 1999, the property has seen continual growth in both gaming and non-gaming assets. The property currently offers over 860 slot machines, 9 table games, a luxurious 132 room hotel with 225 occupancy banquet space, two delicious restaurants, coffee shop and a convenience store.

The Apache Markets are full service convenience stores. We have 2 locations: Lawton, Oklahoma and Anadarko, Oklahoma.




Apache Homelands is a full service casual dining restaurant and smoke shop in Deming, New Mexico.

Description

Overview
The Hotel Administrative Assistant works closely with management in promoting a professional business environment, providing support and completing a wide variety of projects and assignments independently with minimum supervision.

Essential Functions

  • Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of providing exceptional service at all times.
  • Schedule, coordinate and complete all administrative work as assigned to ensure efficient and effective administrative support to executive team member
  • Organize and prioritize work to maintain the greatest efficiency in the completion of special projects and assignments
  • Draft and compose correspondence, memoranda, e-mail, reports and miscellaneous documents using Microsoft Office products
  • Properly perform basic accounting functions related to the accounts payable and other financial matters
  • Process vendor invoices and take care of vendor inquiries regarding payments in a courteous, friendly manner
  • Maintain Gift Shop inventories and consignment accounts; monitor and replenish office supplies, and run business-related errands
  • Prepare outgoing mail, file correspondence and other departmental records and reports
  • Interface with all operational and support team members, as well as outside agencies and vendors, in a friendly, courteous manner
  • Respond to letters, items of concern, and/or inquiries promptly and politely
  • Attend meetings as required, record minutes and prepare for distribution
  • Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and escort or direct them to the appropriate office
  • Answer telephone and give information to callers, or route call as appropriate
  • Receive and distribute incoming departmental mail, facsimiles, etc.
  • Prepare documents and reports regarding monthly, quarterly, and/or annual operational matters
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
  • Log in and be proficient in the Avaya S-8600 phone system
  • Assist the PBX department with incoming calls and room reservations during high volume business demand
  • Ability to assist VIP guests over the phone with direct mail offers and room reservations.
  • Ability to assist all front desk activities during meetings and high volume times.
  • Confirming all payroll hours, including requested time off pay is correct prior to closing payroll.
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ related experience in an administrative support position, with an Associate of Arts degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
  • Have reliable transportation for travel to and from local locations
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Pass a background check and drug-screening test

  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards may apply departmentally based on uniform requirements). Where uniforms are required, they must be clean and pressed at the beginning of each shift

  • Competency to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation, carefully monitoring processes and routine work details
  • Ability to clearly present information verbally and in writing; read and interpret complex information; actively listen and talk with guests and team members

  • Demonstrate a high level of service delivery to ensure guest and team member satisfaction; handle service failures and prioritize guest and team member needs
