If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues, we invite you to join our dedicated team of professionals. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including, but not limited to the below. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs moderate level administrative functions (word processing, excel, and/or other MS Office applications) May assist with bi-weekly and hourly payroll information Prepares bank deposits and statements of revenue as needed Enter Patient demographic and insurance information to EHR Process patient payments and follow up on account balances Complete payroll and timesheets Prepares and submits billings as needed Assists with statistical reporting and facilities management as needed Responsible for disbursement, maintenance and reconciliation of petty cash as required  Establishes, maintains and updates the filing system Compiles reports; updates, checks and completes records, forms and documents Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive documents Answers phones, greets consumers/visitors. Performs other general clerical duties (typing, filing, distributing mail, etc.) Operates and maintains a variety of office equipment Requirements KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Medical administrative support experience, preferably in a mental health setting Strong patient service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals experiencing mental health challenges Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Therapy Notes, to input patient information and maintain accurate records Knowledge of front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and managing phone systems Familiarity with medical office or dental office procedures and protocols   Position Requirements   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High School diploma/GED + 2-3 years of related work experience; OR 1 year of college + 1 years related work experience. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and/or other office applications. Ability to pass skills test as applicable. One year of supervisory experience, if applicable.
