Position Public Event Service Manager

The Public Event Services Manager is responsible for managing, executing, servicing, and detailing assigned events once booked. They are to ensure the smooth and efficient process of an event from signature to execution. This individual will oversee all related services and details for publice events at AREA15, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives, budget guidelines, brand, and service standards.


  • Create, Review, and format BEO notes for all public events.
  • Keep up with the Entertainment and Events team on timelines, billing, and deadlines.
  • On-Site Coordination, including owning floor plans and creating floor plans for events.
  • BEO distribution to the right department and involved individuals.
  • Interact and seamlessly communicate with VIPs and/or artists in a professional manner.
  • Participate in venue walk-throughs for all public events.
  • Taking on a leadership role when necessary to make executive decisions. Should issues arrive on-site, the ability to problem solve and diffuse elevated situations in a professional manner.
  • Ensure events are properly staffed, safety measures are in place, and transportation is arranged.
  • Coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure and ensure that any last-minute changes are handled with minimal disruption.
  • Oversee all aspects of operational set-up and break down of events, including equipment needs, rental needs, and station set-up.
  • Complete administration duties as assigned.
  • Create, manage, and implement communications plans and programs to increase revenue, foot traffic, and awareness.
  • Meet all quality goals for the event in the areas of safety, guest service, efficiency, and appearance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align programming and sales goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in music, large event, and other public events in relevant industries.
  • Participate and provide data to measure performance metrics of marketing programs and communicate results to management.
  • Keep event plans under budget and on schedule per BEO.
  • Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.?Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements


  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in event execution.
  • Demonstrated understanding of attendee’s needs
  • Be able to delegate tasks and organize a team.
  • Familiarity with event trends and developments.
  • Ability to create, review, and communicate BEOs and communicate changes/ask questions.
  • Ability to take a leadership role on-site and make executive decisions.?
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of sales systems such as Triple Seat preferred.
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for a prolonged period of time.
  • Must be able to work extended hours when business requires.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to commute between office and venue(s).
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure
