Job Description

Position: Table Games Supervisor

Department: Table Games

Reports to: Table Games Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time Salary

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five years’ experience as a table games dealer
  • Experience with and knowledge of applicable gaming regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation
  • Computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of various electronic gaming and player tracking management and support systems preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Essential Job Functions

  • Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of providing exceptional service at all times
  • Assist in the overall operation of the Table Games Department and ensure the department meets operational goals, monitoring table action for adherence to casino policies and regulatory agencies’ regulations
  • Conduct Table Games training program and seminars directed at developing and enhancing team member skills
  • Assist in determining work procedures, prepare work schedules, and instruct team members on table assignments
  • Maintain proper table banks through fills and credits, change cards at tables and inspect for irregularities, review and verify all payouts, and perform table inventory procedures at shift change
  • Ensure dealers control the game pace for assigned games, oversee table closure and openings, and prepare all necessary reports at the end of each shift to maintain the efficient department operation
  • Ensure that employees in the department understand and are accountable for their areas of responsibility, monitoring performance standards
  • Act as a role model for team members and foster teamwork, good morale, motivation, open communication and compliance with the Eye Hi Goodbye program
  • Ensure all department team members adhere to policies including attendance and appearance standards, and compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols
  • Study and provide input on procedures to improve efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned

  • Aptitude to stay informed of current industry trends; learn and apply new concepts and demonstrate career self-reliance; identify areas of opportunity and set and monitor self-development goals
  • Demonstrate a high level of service delivery to ensure guest and team member satisfaction; handle service failures and prioritize guest and team member needs

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential job functions.

While performing job duties the team member is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing job duties the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, and there are fluctuations in lighting due to flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.

At a minimum, the selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug-screening test, and obtain a gaming license.
