Who You’ll Report To: This position will report directly to the task lead on-site for this contract.

The Work You’ll be Doing:

The Cyber Security Engineer III will perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized information assurance problems.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to IA requirements.
  • Analyzes information security requirements.
  • Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning.
  • Provides security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, integration of information systems.
  • Assists with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Experience:

  • Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
  • Four (4) years of experience creating customized signatures using SNORT.

Education:

  • HS diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III required.
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS required.
  • Computing Environment: Trellix IPS manager, Check Point IPS Blade required.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance:

  • Secret security clearance required. Eligible for IT I.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
