Share Email Opening Title CDL A Driver/ Equipment Operator ( El dorado KS)   Description POSITION SUMMARY: The CDL driver/ Equipment Operator will commute to various RoadSafe locations in and out of state to perform pavement marking services. Overnight lodging and a daily per-diem will be paid for by RoadSafe. As part of the Pavement Marking Team, you will be responsible for the job site and machinery set up and clean up. In this role we expect you to have a mechanical aptitude and experience with the equipment, vehicle, and diesel machinery. In this role there is an expectation that you can lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit and bend for long durations. Here at RoadSafe it is very much a team environment, and we perform daily tasks required for the job as a team.   Position Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required. Must have a CDL Class A License Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience. Must be able to drive, sit, and stand for extended periods of time and in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to receive, understand, and communicate specific instructions. Must be able to successfully pass background check and CDL DOT drug screen. HAZMAT certification preferred but not required. Must be able to read and write in order to complete paperwork, comply with road signs and have knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulation. Must be willing to work in a primarily outdoor environment and travel.
