Duties: Read work orders and/or receive instructions from management to determine work requirements Prioritize, manage and track work flow Operate, inspect and test machinery or equipment Adjust, repair and replace damaged or worn components of structures and equipment Perform preventative routine building and equipment maintenance, to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work Use hand-tools, precision instruments and power tools Drive a company vehicle Observe health and safety precautions required to protect people and property Keep work areas clean and orderly All other duties as assigned   Position Requirements Education, Knowledge and Skills: Valid Alaska Driver’s License with clean driving record required 1 year of experience with building maintenance, or combined relevant education and experience required Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair and maintenance Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair, to include basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing and mechanical Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions Able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to include taking instruction from multiple sources and communicating with management regarding conflict of priorities Able to lift 90 lbs.
