Diversity at our agency means fostering a workplace in which individual differences are recognized, appreciated, respected and responded to in ways that fully develop and utilize each person's talent and strengths.   Position Senior Accountant   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Medford, NY   Salary $80-$90K.   Days/Hours Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm   Description Concern Housing is seeking a Senior Accountant who will be able to apply accounting principles to prepare financial reports, compile financial information, analyze financial data, and ensure financial compliance. They are also responsible for the month-end close processes and supervision Staff Accountants and Bookkeepers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinate the monthly accounting close for all entities. Prepare financial and budget-to-actual reports for investors, funders and internal purposes. Supervisor bookkeepers and staff accountants and review applicable work. Assists with the annual financial statement audits. Prepare spreadsheets for development accounting. Review bank reconciliations and journal entries. Manage agency credit cards procedures and accounting. Manage Amazon Business account. Special projects as needed. Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.   Salary Range: $80-$90K.   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required along with a minimum of two years of Accounting experience. Must have analytical ability and proficiency in Excel.
