We are currently experiencing rapid growth and have a presence in all 50 states, Canada, and Australia. It is supported with nearly 2,000 golf course partners and more than 8,000 unique donors. Position: Course Partnership Intern Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Director, Regional Affairs POSITION SUMMARY: The Course Partnership Intern will be responsible for maintaining and growing the list of partner golf courses available for YOC members to play. This will require this position to regularly reach out to current partners to ensure the partnership is working, as well as reach out to new golf courses and encourage or persuade them to become partners with YOC. This position will learn about and support full-time staff with the general operations of a non-profit organization. This position will receive direct supervision and work collaboratively with all YOC staff. This is an 11-month internship appointment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and make direct outreach to potential course partners, prioritizing golf courses in diverse and highly populated areas. Negotiate course agreement parameters (rates and availability) with course operators. Facilitate DocuSign contracts and ensure proper and accurate documentation in Salesforce. Provide ongoing support and foster relationships with existing course partners. Work with tech, marketing and program team members to identify best practices. Arrange meetings and coordinate travel for program leadership as needed. Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times. Other duties as assigned, including professional development.   Position Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree (or currently working towards Bachelor’s Degree) A passion for helping youth gain access to life-changing opportunities. A positive, professional attitude and sense of humor. Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to speak publicly on behalf of the organization. Supreme organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics for multiple initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with golf, ability to understand the sport, the importance of youth having access to it, and the opportunities it can provide. Must have a valid US driver's license. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This is a 11-month, full-time, Non-Exempt, Intern level position with a salary of $19.00/hour. Some clothing will be provided, with the employee expected to source and maintain a high-standard of attire at all times.
